Unherd removes Mike Buchanan’s comments on an article lauding Andrea Dworkin

Most of the followers of this website will be aware that the radical feminist Andrea Dworkin (1946-2005) was insane, in common with so many (most?) radical feminists. Unherd today posted a ludicrous article by their feminist columnist (one of many, including Julie Bindel) Poppy Sowerby, titled Andrea Dworkin was right about men: The radical feminist is having a renaissance. Sowerby describes herself on her X page as “prolific and excellent”. I commented on her article as follows:

“Dworkin was insane, as so many radical feminists have been / are (Kate Millett and Valerie Solanas come inevitably to mind). It helps explain their appeal to so many women with mental health issues. It says something about the insane world we live in that Dworkin’s books are still in print and selling, likewise many other feminists’ books including Solanas’s “SCUM manifesto”. She shot and nearly killed Andy Warhol.

Another sign of the insane world we live in, Esther Vilar’s outstanding (and hilarious) “The Manipulated Man” (1971) was pulled as an English-language book by Amazon in 2021, on its 50th anniversary. It’s still available elsewhere, though. Thoroughly recommended for sane men and women everywhere.
