Kristine Larson, Los Angeles Fire Department $300K-per-year diversity chief, sparks fury for defending DEI by blaming the victim: ‘He got himself in the wrong place’

Our thanks to CP for replying to our piece on British firefighters being too white and too male with this. We linked to it last month when the story broke, but thought it worth linking again. In saying that a man in need of a firefighter to get him out of a fire was “in the wrong place” – because Kristine Larson as a female firefighter couldn’t or wouldn’t do so i.e. her male colleague(s) would have to do so – she inadvertantly admitted that while women earn equal money with men in the fire service, they deliver less and take fewer risks i.e. the public is less protected.
