Surely even those who are more inclined to vote left than conservative cannot deny the sheer craziness of current left-wing views, and how dangerous it all starts to look when translated into public policy. It sounds perverse to say this, but perhaps we needed Kier Starmer in office, just to remind us of that. There’s no denying it now. Roll on Reform!
With regard to “two tier” policing and justice one of the most obvious is the completely different treatment of men and women! We have just seems announced, with some fanfare, government policy to step up the previous governments policy of not prosecuting women and not imprisoning them if prosecuted and found guilty in complete contrast to the treatment of men. Overt and government policy sexism directly discriminating on the basis of sex. No wonder some men going through the criminal justice system identify as women if by doing so they get to be in the lenient preferential tier! And of course “misogyny” will be charged against men who might think women shouldn’t be combat soldiers, or like to nurture their children. But apparently not at the thousands of men in the “Pakistani grooming gangs” whose misogyny is demonstrated by their horrific rape and abuse of girls and young women. The use of the word “alleged” makes clear the lying core of this report. F or since the horrific story broke a decade ago there have been 100s of cases and including 1000s of convicted perpetrators and 10s of thousands of victims, all a matter of public record. Factually the “grooming gangs” data of only the cases resulting in convictions shows this is a massive problem. The inquiry into this is not about what happened and its massive extent, but addressing why it had been condoned and hidden by public servants for the previous three decades.
