In a WhatsApp exchange with Eli, the subject turned to musicians killed in aviation accidents after I pointed her to the legendary American singer/songwriter Jim Croce, who died in 1973 at the age of 30 in a plane crash, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Eli kindly sent me a link to the Wiki page on musicians killed in aviation accidents or incidents. I was astonished at how many famous musicians died that way, unknown to me.
