Sam Rushworth MP (L, Bishop Auckland) is one of three vice-chairs on the all-party parliamentary group (APPG) on Men’s and Boys’ Issues. Two days ago he applied to the Backbench Business Committee for permission to host a debate commemorating International Men’s Day – video (start – 16:23:10). The request was accepted, and the debate (in the chamber of the House of Commons) will be held next Thursday, 21 November, the nearest date available to International Men’s Day (19 November).
