Molson Coors becomes latest major company to get rid of DEI initiatives

Good news (video, 2:47). From the video description:

“With more than 900 employees in Colorado… Molson Coors is now the seventh major company, joining Ford Motor Co., John Deere, Lowe’s and others in the past month to announce a rollback of its DEI efforts and withdraw from third-party rankings of corporate equality.”

In January 2022 Jordan B Peterson published an excellent video, D-I-E must DIE (18:08).

We’re looking forward to ever more DEI parasites within the public and private sectors, as well as businesses set up to do nothing else than parasite off organisations, looking for alternative sources of income. Burger flipping at KFC, say, or cleaning the men’s toilets at Kings X / St Pancras station (a national disgrace). In such roles they would be far more useful to society than they are at present.

  1. Good because what happens in the US is often followed a couple of years later here. A story today in the Telegraph illustrates how deep the problem is. One line seems innocent enough, but speaks volumes “A Royal Navy spokesman said: “The Commando Force is a modern and professional employer.” It is literally true that our commandos are employees yet in the past there were different words to describe the relationship, to indicate that something more than a financial exchange was involved, not least because these “employees” can be called on to make the ultimate sacrifice. Vocation, Public Service, Duty, Loyalty, Honour, Sacrifice, Valor. Not only does DEI distort who is recruited (or not) it also cheapens the whole relationship. This is particularly evident in all public services where the ethos of public service has been lost. Teachers no longer act as professionals with a vocation, Medics strike like any other workers and WFH, The Airforce turns away the best of the best patriots in favour of “the right optics” the Police and Prison Officers are encouraged to strike, as if their protection of the public is no more important than Checkouts at Asda. And working longer and harder is derided as “presentism” and “toxic masculinity” preventing women from being promoted because they’ve got their coats on five minutes before the official end of the working day.
