Phil Mitchell: “The Sexual Abuse of Boys and Men: Creating an Approach for Neglected Victims”
An MRA friend has emailed to tell me how much he enjoyed reading a book published last year, Phil Mitchell’s The Sexual Abuse of Boys and Men: Creating an Approach for Neglected Victims. The description on Amazon includes glowing testimonials from Erin Pizzey, Deborah Powney and Martin Seager, among others.

Times Radio: Jacob Rees-Mogg congratulates Nigel Farage on his election to parliament as he loses his own seat
An interesting piece (video, 8:28) broadcast just before the announcement that Jacob Rees-Mogg had lost his seat in Somerset.
Citizens’ responsibility for public sector incompetence
A retired friend has decided to emigrate permanently. He says that after 14 years of suffering from Conservative Party incompetence, he just can’t take five years of even worse Labour Party incompetence with its inevitable expansion of identity politics and further assaults on the human rights of men and boys.
He’s asked a friend to sell his car after he’s emigrated, and in relation to this he’s going to park his car on the friend’s land on the day of his flight. In connection with this he’s submitted a Statutory Off Road Notification (SORN) to the DVLA in Swansea, using form V890:
He pointed me to the right-hand column of the guidance notes, which has this:
“Once you have made a SORN you will be sent an acknowledgement within 4 weeks confirming the details. If the acknowledgement is not received after 4 weeks you must contact Customer Enquiries on 0300 790 6802 immediately, as you could still be liable for the vehicle and may receive a penalty.”
My friend writes:
“The DVLA is infamous for its inefficiency – even by the public sector’s low standards – and I’m told by a friend who works there that well over 90% of the staff are women. I am now required to compensate for these women’s laziness / incompetence, otherwise suffer the consequences i.e. a penalty. I’m counting the days until my flight!”
Sophie Walker, former leader of the Women’s Equality Party
I just had to post this. The Wikipedia entry on the WEP informs us that Sophie Walker was elected leader in 2018. From that entry:
Walker had been due to serve a five-year term until 2023 but resigned 10 months later, stating “sometimes in order to lead, you have to get out of the way”.
The related Guardian article is here.
Women’s Equality Party candidates lose their deposits
Some good news from the election. The four candidates for the ludicrous Women’s Equality Party all lost their deposits, at least I assume they did, after checking out the results for Congleton, where Kay Wesley secured 544 votes (1.1%) of the 49,425 total. From her website:
“In her time as a Councillor, Kay has a track record of working collaboratively across the board to end violence against women and girls [J4MB emphasis] by getting White Ribbon Accreditation and helping start a domestic abuse clinic.”
