Just an early example of feminist ideology being implemented by the new Labour government, an issue not mentioned in their election manifesto. Many more examples of feminist influence to come.

The blurb for the second listed work “”Becky Francis provides teachers with a thorough analysis of the various ways in which secondary school pupils construct their gender identities in the classroom. The book also discusses methods by which teachers might challenge these gender constructions in the classroom and thereby address the ‘gender gap’ in achievement.”
I’ll bet that “the gender gap in achievement” is not the real one, which as we know is actually a widening one in favour of girls.
