Appalling. There have been far too many cases of female prison officers having relationships with male prisoners. There should be no female officers in men’s jails.

Agreed, why has cross-gender supervision of prisoners become so acceptable, when the whole world is in a panic about transgenders using a woman’s toilet ? Do men not have bodily integrity rights as well ?

“The prison’s governor, Katie Price, resigned during the inspection which highlighted “systemic and cultural failures that stemmed from poor leadership”” Wandsworth Prison it seems is “failing”. Of course no one will dare to consider quite how it is the Prison service recruits so many plainly unsuitable officers, in this case a woman who on her social media is a “swinger” and has many sexually provocative pictures and content. But it seems likely that the push to get more “diversity” has drastically reduced standards at it has in the Police, Fire and other public services.
