  1. One of the few truths I’ve heard from this liberal goofball! His policies are going to destroy the Roman Catholic church. While it’s true that all churches are losing members if the Pope continues to liberalize and alienate hard-core Catholics his church is going to lose more!

  2. I’m not an expert in Catholicism but women could hardly complain they aren’t ” represented”. Specially in southern Europe visiting churches means all sorts of versions of Mary, female saints who’ve had visions of Mary and female saints in general, specially as the patron saints of fishing and seafarers are female.And of course the pagans of the past and Hinduism of the present have many goddesses( indeed many feminists are Wicka in some fanciful copy of Celtic religion). As all these were “patriarchal” societies ( often warrior aristocracies) it strikes me that things are more complicated than feminists think. I’m sure that’s true of the Catholic church and Catholic societies.
