Janice Fiamengo: “A Baseless Story by a Woman (20) of Sexual Assault Puts an Innocent Man (41) in Jail”

A sad story of something that’s all too common. An extract:

“Only the official criminal complaint against Urumova yields some hard information about her crime. We learn that police eventually confronted the woman about parts of her story that didn’t add up. She had described the route taken by her attacker after he fled the scene, but his truck did not appear where it should have on surveillance video. Similarly, an app on her phone did not record her movements in the parking lot. Forced to confess her lie, Urumova said that she had chosen to accuse Pierson because she had seen him in the parking lot previously and thought he was “creepy.” “

We can be very sure that Anjela Urumova, 20, will not receive the punishment she richly deserves.

  1. Although it seems trivial this story shows the animus against men. Mother who ignored her kids after winning half marathon speaks out against critics | The Independent

She has to step in to defend her husband and brother because the husband specially came in for global condemnation (including in the Independent and national papers here) for supposedly ruining this woman’s triumph and tying her to the kitchen sink. Its a shame here defense is in Portuguese (as the race was in Brazil) because the “outrage” was generally in the Anglosphere. It transpires that the parents had both agreed that it would be nice for the woman to be joined by her children in the final yards, but in the event she was running close to a rival and just wanted be sure of the finish. This story of triumph anf family ruined by the feminist narrative that the father had sabotaged the woman in order to put her in her place as a “mere” mother. All completely false.
