Interesting.

  1. The truth is that the hysterical response shows the fear. Not fear of a speech most protestors had never seen or heard, but the fear of their own feelings of guilt. For time after time surveys of the attitudes within the general population find both sexes aspire to find a partner and raise a family, and much to the annoyance of the Fawcett Soc. etc. women aspire to nurture and focus on their children and home. And the solution to this mass heresy is “more education and training”.

So of course the real things that could be triggered by Mr. Butker’s rather Catholic observations, are disappointment for those who’ve “held out” and been hit by the biological clock, guilt from those who’ve been sexually liberated and specially those who’ve used abortion as birth control and envy at those women who have achieved their aspirations to form a family. Basically Harrison Butker’s crime is holding up a mirror to everyone and the feminists see themselves as they are, the picture hidden in the attic, not the “gorgeous” “goddess” “having it all” they tell each other they are.
