After the previous scandal I applied to Nottingham Crown Court to bring a private prosecution of him, on the grounds that performing non-therapeutic circumcision (on both sexes, at any age) is a criminal offence under the Offences Against the Person Act (1861), but a judge denied me leave to bring one.
