But you must be under no illusion what’s going to happen on the fourth of July.” [J4MB: A suspended sentence, almost certainly, with the baby being used to justify the unjustifiable.]

Mainly of comments of the “boys are up for it” sort. And though its difficult to be sure, mainly from males. Now of course the reality of the reverse is usually that girls also fancy the teacher an feel grown up and love the attention. But no one thinks that excuses the male teacher who takes advantage. Its a real example of the deep gynocentrism of our society, in which 15 year old boys are deemed more in control than 30 year old female teachers.
