I read somewhere that Andrew Tate had 3 million following his various sites. A tiny number if one considers that there are over 200 million males in the US and UK and that number grow to close to 300 millions if one includes the rest of the english speaking countries (and even higher where english is a commonly used language such as India, the Caribbean, South Africa or indeed the “nordic” countries). So it seems highly unlikely that his influence, whatever it is, is that great. Whereas young men exist in the world created by those “boomer” older men, which purposely discriminates for females and against males in; Schools, Colleges and Universities, in all forms of public services and in much of the larger “corporate” sectors of the private sector. And of course in the media. While at least the term “toxic masculinity” lays bare the misandry at the core of feminism. No one says it but the reason that boomer men gave all these privileges to females was of course that they believed women couldn’t be “equal” without lots of extra help and concessions. And occasional feminist even points this out. However young men are fully indoctrinated into the idea of “equality” and women’s ability to compete on an equal basis with men. So quite reasonable many will wonder why there are so many discriminations in favour of females, and against males and why indeed their “lived experience” etc. is denied or declared evil.
The whole Tate effect is a distraction from the reality, that males are discriminated against and in a way have been educated to see discrimination in a way the older generation who were socialized into chivalry and seeing women as in need of help and support. I recall a quote from a husband of one of the younger “pop” feminists, where his interpretation was “its being constantly shouted at, for things I haven’t done”. I’m sure the younger generation have had that experience en masse.

An on cue and example of the older generation’s willingness to be nice to ladies, while observing direct discrimination. May and Hammond both describe both sex discrimination against men (and himself in May’s case) and “toxic masculinity” yet don’t challenge the statistical absurdity of 97% of women having experienced some form of “cat call” etc. No doubt something from a magazine or campus on a small self selecting sample. Meanwhile in Spain an official so excited that the women’s team one he was a bit OTT, is threatened with prison by feminist prosecutors. As millions saw the event itself I’d not be surprised many spanish men regard feminism as going too far.Spanish prosecutors will seek two-and-a-half-year prison sentence for Luis Rubiales over ‘kissgate’ scandal – and if convicted the disgraced former FA president will pay Jenni Hermoso £85,000 in compensation | Daily Mail Online
