Study challenges the conventional wisdom about anti-women gender biases in STEM (psypost.org)
This large scale (5 years) study shows very little “gender bias” in STEM in Universities in the US. Crucially it is shown to exist in “tenured” jobs, in favour of women! Whereas the “bias” found against women is in the student evaluation of lecturers. Could it possibly be that preferring women for lecturer posts means some are not such good lecturers? Given the bias against men occurs in the employment it is likely that the males notice they they are discriminated against. As the data shows it is the younger cohorts who are becoming aware that discrimination in favour of women inevitably means discrimination against men.
