Our thanks to Steve for this. How the BBC must have baulked at publishing a piece on this,. Needless to say, they’ve applied their usual progressive slant to it. Doubtless the good people of Ireland will be given more chances in coming years to deliver a ‘correct’ result, and the government will continue to ignore the constitution anyway.
