Spotted in a local Tesco yesterday:

Most Nurofen products – including this one – consist of a mixture of paracetamol and ibuprofen, and cost considerably more than buying the Tesco own-label drugs and combining them. But I assume that wouldn’t be possible for women due to the gender common sense gap and gender intelligent spending gap.

Well I’m pleased to see at least some attempt to apply legal standards to women, which apply to men. For generally women have effectively had license in this country to wear very little indeed, in public, without any action at all. Yet men, even having a whizz behind a bush if “caught short”, are prosecuted for indecency. All due to the mantra that no matter how “sexy” and practically naked a woman is, this is somehow not intended to attract the attention of the opposite or even same sex (that evil “male gaze”). Any visit to a beach or park in summer and lake nights in Bolton or Manchester would produce far more examples of females exhibiting themselves than males.

As you say the success of the idea that somehow there is unfairness (no doubt caused by men) to be “challenged”. Of course there’s a “gap” given that males (even the ones created by surgery and hormone therapy) don’t menstruate. Just as another terrible “gap” is the fact men “overwhelmingly” suffer from Prostate Cancer or erectile disfunction! I suppose its just advertising. In fact you’d think that feminists might protest, for 80% of purchasing is controlled by women and therefore 80% of advertising is aimed at women. Generally it seems pretty clear that advertising has a pretty low estimation of the intelligence of their audience.
