Is Laura Bates insane?

Is Laura Bates insane? To MRAs including myself it’s obviously a rhetorical question, but anyone not already convinced she’s as mad as a March hare on LSD might care to check out our large library of blog pieces on the eternal child-woman (37), including links to her Lying Feminist of the Month awards. The question of Bates’s sanity occurred to me again today when Celia sent me a newspaper article from Sussex, Big names lining up for the Lewes Speakers Festival. The “big names” include our fruitcake feminist as well as the appalling former Lib Dem politician Vince Cable. The line that made me think afresh about Bates’s sanity was this:
Laura Bates, founder of the Everyday Sexism Project, attacks the ‘systemic prejudice’ she sees in education, politics, media, policing and criminal justice.
The only systemic prejudice to be found in those areas (and so many others) is anti-male. It is surely evidence of Bates’s poor mental health that she would think otherwise. For the sake of her mental health, she really needs to seek some professional help. I shudder to think how many women – young women, in particular – have been brainwashed into delusional victimhood (with its consequent inevitable misery and dysfunctionality) by Bates since she launched her damnable website in 2012. If Bates lives to 100, she’ll still remain a child at heart.

How did a sea eagle end up in Wales?

The last item on the BBC1 TV lunchtime news was a story from Wales, of a sea eagle being sighted on a farm there. Apparently sea eagles aren’t normally found in Wales. There was some short video of it flying above the farm – it was raining at the time, what are the chances? – and the BBC newsreader ended the piece with:
It’s a mystery how the eagle arrived in Wales.
Well, let’s review the most likely options, shall we? I suggest they are that the bird walked or arrived by road, rail, or air. My theory is that the bird flew to Wales, but I’m no expert on sea eagles.

Let’s build a memorial to the Navy’s slave trade busters, says PENNY MOURDAUNT, who warns truth is in danger of being lost forever

Our thanks to Gerry for this. At last, some common sense from the silly woman. I was in the public gallery (alone) one International Men’s Day when the Speaker announced the next debate would be in commemoration of IMD. There were maybe 120 MPs in the chamber before the announcement, and 14 shortly afterwards. Penny Mordaunt exited the chamber with a speed I wouldn’t have thought possible.

Woke row erupts as Sussex firefighters told biological sex is ‘just a label’ and ‘runs on a spectrum’

Madness on stilts. An extract from the piece:
Meanwhile, “sex is the label we’re assigned by a doctor when we’re born” the training material seen by The Telegraph says. This label does not cover the “range of innate gender identities a person might have”, the material maintains. It states: “In truth, our understanding of the amount of difference between bodies is only just emerging, and current research indicates that there is probably more of a physical spectrum of biological sex rather than the simple binary of male and female.” The guidance also says that scientific research “increasingly shows that everyone’s biology is complex and doesn’t fit a simple binary anyway”.
Firefighting is, of course, only one of numerous lines of work – the police and front-line miltary roles come inevitably to mind – where physical fitness standards for potential entrants and later employees have been lowered so as to enable more women to join. The physical needs of the jobs are no less than they ever were, so their male colleagues must pick up the slack, whilst earning no more in recognition. The title of my talk at the Budapest conference is, “Pandering to Women’s Demands is Destroying Western Civilisation”. The workplace is only one of many places where this is true.

Aleesha Bates, 29, and Jodie Wilkes, 27, prison staff, accused of having relationship with the same inmate at the same time due in court today accused of misconduct

Same old, same old. Women have no place dealing with incarcerated men, the consequences are utterly predictable.
