Leyla Binns, 20, aspiring female pilot, left ex-soldier needing stitches in his face after throwing a glass at his head in New Year’s Day attack. Spared jail after telling court her weapon ‘slipped out of her hand because it was wet’.

Another day, another miscarriage of justice. An extract:

… a police officer who attended the scene noted Binns saying: ‘It is something that was deserved.’

The prosecution accepted Binns only intended to throw the contents of her glass at Mr Savage. [J4MB: The PROSECUTION!!!]

Blind footballer accused of being a ‘creep’ and thrown out of gym for ‘staring at woman’

Our thanks to Alan for this. He writes:
It’s incredible. I can understand a complaint being made about staring but to throw him out once it was discovered he is blind and even had a cane with him? Totally shocking. Outrageous and I am sure illegal (discrimination against the disabled) but he embarrassed a woman so he had to go.

Julie Bindel interview: “Julie Szego, The Australian feminist journalist, sacked by The Age newspaper for doing her job”

Earlier this morning Julie Bindel posted this on her Substack account. I posted the first comments in response, they’ve been challenged by a feminist and I responded to that too, here.

Could Miss England pageant bring back its famous bikini parade? Swimwear round could be reinstated after 20 years as organisers say they won’t ‘bow to woke brigade’

Interesting. An extract:

Miss England organiser Angie Beasley said she was holding talks with contestants about whether to bring swimwear back to the stage in 2023.

Previous finalists have waded into the debate with many saying it was a ‘fun way’ to ‘celebrate body positivity’ and ’empower women’ to be ‘confident in their own skin.’

Good points, well made.
