In the real world the vast majority of advertising is targeted at women. For the obvious reason that women make the vast majority of purchasing decisions. An observation first made in the late 1940s in the US and still very much the case. It is all the more remarkable that companies selling to men in the relatively limited range of goods they purchase direct , contrive to fall over so badly. Probably the female (and male) teams are so used to flattering females they actually have no ideas for advertising to men.
