Anya Hindmarsh (handbag designer) is a blithering idiot

Our thanks to Gerry for pointing us to a piece in the Mail with the snappy title Women should be paid more than men to compensate for the ‘burden’ of having to stay stylish by forking out for expensive wardrobes, and perfect hairdos, make-up and nails, designer Anya Hindmarch says. Gerry writes:
Style is not a burden. It is a privilege. An outward evidence of a power that creates impressions of superior class and virtue, thus cementing that privilege in place. So this brazen attempt to plunder the gullible is an exposé of the morally drunken state of feminism.

  1. It is a remarkable thing that men are often referred to as having “fragile egos” yet it is women who shore up theirs with vast industries. One of the remarkable shifts in feminism has been from the dungaree clad protesters of decades ago to todays crop obsessed with “beauty and fashion” “body positivity” etc. coupled with a determination that no woman be “made uncomfortable” by any observation of reality about their appearance. It is no surprise that media reliant on advertising pander so much to women’s vanity. In fact female vanity and ego fragility is a massive economic driver. These days I,m saguine about lots of initiatives to get women into trades or sports because after 50 years of seeing them fail its pretty clear women are not going to enter any field which requires a uniform or prescribed workwear and will spoil their hair and make up. The only real exception is possibly some branches of nursing. It makes me smile as so many feminists demand “women” enter all sorts of occupations when they themselves would never countenance not “looking immaculate”.

    • Indeed. To climb the female dominance hierarchy – or at least try to – as described so well by Steve Moxon in his terrific book, ‘The Woman Racket’ (2008), one of the first books to red pill me. Also Anya the Blithering Idiot fails to mention that while women spend most of the disposable income, or at least influence its expenditure, it’s men who earn more money – mainly from working longer hours in tougher jobs – who EARN most of that that income, before handing it over to (mainly) their female partners, who often spend with all the financial wisdom of a toddler.

  2. But of course the reality isn’t the point. If all are “wonderful” and no one can say “actually you are fat, the dress makes your bum look big and the hair looks like ice cream cone ” then of course they “feel” they are immaculate. Don’t start with oppressive facts!
