Of course the sentence is pretty short for such a case, the worst case the female Judge has seen apparently. However I’m heartened at the overwhelmingly positive comments on this story. He is a brave man and the story shows all the features of such abuse towards men. The fear of losing contact with children, the social isolation (easier for women to do for as the feminists are always saying wives are usually the centre of the family social network), the fear of being accused of abuse by the woman and the all too common situation where the abuse is brought to light by a third party.
