  1. It is truly bizarre. In this instance I’d have to observe even Scandinavian countries try to support families (married couple) through the tax system and there generous maternal leave is to assist “bonding” because they at least pay some attention to child psychology. Now where did such complete child care arrangements exist in Europe ? The USSR and some of its satellites ! Which expected women to get back to work pronto. In the workers paradise. These countries often had sky high abortion rates (apart of curse from Romania) and rapidly declining populations. Hence the “right wing” policies of many of these countries with policies to encourage marriage and children. I remain bemused at how a “conservative ” party can have created something that emulates Communism ?
