So far, predictably, there’s been nothing to suggest that just-launched GB News is going to be challenging feminism or feminists any time soon. Its chairman, Andrew Neil, is also the chairman of The Spectator, the pro-feminist (albeit right-of-centre otherwise) weekly current affairs magazine which has refused to publish our full-page advertisement on the truth about domestic violence, while it has seen fit to publish 50+ articles by Julie Bindel alone. One of the GB News presenters, Gloria De Piero, is a former Labour MP who was at one time the Shadow Minister for Women & Equalities. But we remain optimistic that the channel will start challenging feminists at some point.
Our thanks to Ben for this. It appears that Nivea (among other brands including Grolsch and Ikea) have pulled their adverts from GB News in response to a left-wing Twitter campaign. They should be utterly ashamed of themselves, and we can only hope they all experience a consumer boycott as a result.
The only brand that bothers me on a personal level is Nivea. I’m a faithful buyer of their products, particularly their outstanding “Nivea Men” range, and today alone I’ve used five of the products – here. I shall be sending an email with a complaint to Nivea shortly and urge you to do likewise (consumer.relations.uk@beiersdorf.com). Beiersdorf is the major company which owns the brand.
I’ll be giving Nivea 72 hours in which to respond to my complaint. If I get a positive response I’ll publish it here. If I don’t, I’ll throw my Nivea products in the bin and start a campaign for the boycotting of Nivea products (by both men and women). We played our part in the campaign to boycott Gillette products, as a result of which the company lost $8 BILLION from its market value, following its screening of an anti-male TV advertisement created by a feminist (go woke, go broke).
