Runner’s World subscription cancellation

My thanks to a donor for this:

Dear Mike,

I have just cancelled my subscription to Runner’s World magazine.  Feminists have just completely taken over the magazine and are using it as a platform for publishing articles espousing their hatred of men. For example, this month’s lead article “Reclaim your run [from Men]”. Bitchy snippets such as “Jokes…are for men to tell, as we are desperately insecure and need validation through laughter.” The exclusion of men from coverage – 80% of cover photos are of women, 80% of articles are about women. The magazine intentionally omits reporting men’s running achievements. It’s not just this month’s issue.  It’s every month’s issue. I no longer wish this vile crap to enter my house.

Runner’s World adverts are similarly offensive. They allow Women’s Aid, a man-hating feminist group that uses domestic abuse as a front for its terrorist activities against men, to run full page adverts.  However, they deny Justice for Men and Boys to run adverts for domestic abuse against men.  This is blatant anti-male sexism by the editor Andy Dixon and the publisher Hearst UK.

Runners are an excellent, fun crowd and a high-value demographic. Runner’s World makes the claim that “25% of women report being regularly subjected to sexist comments or unwanted sexual advances.”  I have never once in many, many hundreds of races and runs witnessed sexist comments or unwanted sexual advances. I’m sure it happens (it happened to my sister), but it is rare (not “regular”) and done by non-runners and is a matter for the police. This Runner’s World allegation reeks of the outright lie made by the Obama administration that 25% of women are raped on US college campuses, which led to the creation of the notorious US campus kangaroo courts and removal of due process for any young man accused of sexual assault by a woman on a US university campus.

Many years ago Runner’s World was a good, inspirational magazine.  I am sorry to see it has been ruined by identity politics, in particular radical feminism. I am sorry to see its editor try to genderise the great sport of running.  I am sorry to see the publisher, Hearst UK, and the editor Andy Dixon trying to turn male and female runners against each other.  Runner’s World is poisoning running. They should shut down the magazine.  Runner’s World doesn’t represent the sport or the people in it. I hope they go broke.

If advertisers are targeting men, then they should not advertise in Runner’s World.

Regards,

Andrew

Positive discrimination against men by arms-length UK government body

My thanks to the man who emailed me this earlier today, it’s reproduced here with his permission:

I am a man employed by a large arms-length UK government body which is aggressively pushing a radical USA – style policy of reverse discrimination and affirmative action in favour of women and which is diverting huge sums of public sector and taxpayers’ money away from its intended purpose and into programmes of reverse discrimination, funding for feminist lobby groups, the diversity industry, media and communications, corporate entertainment and other such activities.

Taxpayers’ money is also being diverted into legal bullying / buying the law such that men’s basic employment and human rights have been eroded to the point of non-existence and there is a paralysing culture of fear of speaking out or raising complaints for fear of being cancelled or driven out of a job by feminist outrage mobs and their male allies.

This policy of positive discrimination is being driven from government level by feminist MPs and their male allies. It is systemic / on an industrial scale with UK laws covering equality being steamrollered in so far as men’s rights are concerned in favour of gender diversity / equity / an “equal” outcome of 51% women and 49% men.

Under this programme of positive discrimination and because of or related to my (supposedly) protected characteristics I have been subjected to a continuing course of discrimination and serious targeted group harassment (including sexual harassment).

Where I have complained and have spoken out, I have faced aggressive denial, victimisation and harassment with male leaders and the HR department (which is dominated by women) going to extraordinary lengths to cover up the unlawful conduct which I have faced.

Many people seem to be (deliberately kept) uninformed that positive discrimination is illegal in the UK given that this fact is rarely if ever publicised. Positive discrimination is unlawful under section 13 of The Equality Act 2010 and positive action is only allowable under very limited circumstances (s.158 / 159 EQA 2010). The recent employment tribunal case of Mr M Furlong v The Chief Constable of Cheshire Police: 2405577 in 2018 highlighted this.

I turned to the Labour affiliated trade union for legal support but received no support whatsoever. It transpires that the union leadership has been overrun by champagne socialists and radical feminist activists of the same ilk as the discriminators / harassers and who are hand in hand with the company leadership, the HR department and feminist activist groups which share exactly the same agendas and ideologies that they do.

By contrast the Union’s leadership have liberally made available legal funds in support of women’s cases with the Union itself encouraging its female members to bring tribunal claims which are then used to perpetuate the narrative that only women can be the victims of discrimination and harassment, that all men are discriminators / harassers and that ever more public sector (and private sector) resources and funding needs to be diverted to feminist causes.

The reality is in fact the exact opposite of these oft peddled feminist myths of patriarchy / male dominance / gender pay gap, which are continually perpetuated as never-ending pretexts in order to justify this ongoing positive discrimination against men.

This dystopian nightmare leaves me with no one to turn to or to advocate for me and without recourse to assert my basic employment and human rights in what is supposed to be a liberal democratic system under a Conservative government, not a communist state.

I am therefore looking for help / advice / support and for ways to obtain funding for the legal representation which I will require in order to attempt to assert my basic employment and human rights using a legal system which also appears to be biased one-way.

A tale of three murders

Our thanks to Nigel for this. He writes:

This piece gave me pause for thought. The relatives query why the mysterious death of Julia James hadn’t attracted the attention of vigils, protests, statements in the House of Commons, visits by Duchesses to light candles in solidarity. The question entered my head in part because Josiah Norman had died on a colleague’s drive on 21st April.

Few readers will know of Josiah. He was a 17-year-old boy run over and stabbed mid-evening in Salford. Got into the local news, but that’s it. Another statistic in the steady stream of stabbings, which occasionally get noted as a cumulative number. Unlike Sarah Everard there’s only a short story in local newspapers and local radio news, while Everard’s case was so taken up by media, politicians, celebrities and royalty that friends and family actually asked them all to back off.

So it isn’t that surprising that the family of a woman found dead in the same county is somewhere in between Sarah and the barely-noticed Josiah. There is, it seems, a hierarchy of concern and compassion. According to many its “gender”, Sarah symbolised an “epidemic” of male violence against women (despite even the painfully PC Police Chief pointing out it was an “incredibly rare” event) but Julia James was also a woman?

Doesn’t Josiah’s death point to a genuine concern in the spread of knife crime, sadly not “incredibly rare”? Though it is possible Julia’s assailant was a woman, all assumptions are it was a man, but maybe the wimmin’s lobby are just hedging their bets, in case the assailant was in fact female. Maybe sympathy is a little less forthcoming because Julia was a PCSO, but surely a good excuse for a Duchess to light a candle for a loyal public servant?

Could it be that being a married family woman, recently a grandmother, makes her less worthy of attention? Or possibly that despite her family believing she is beautiful, a 50+ grandmother is just less attractive than a 30-year-old single woman with a great career ahead of her? Or, dare one say it, the absence of a sexual aspect to the crime gives little room for prurience? Or maybe that Sarah Everard was just like so many of those in media; university educated, metropolitan, promising career, single, healthy and attractive. Take your pick.

At the same time as the nation noticed Julia, another Josiah died in a London borough and I don’t suppose anyone in his family even considered the question asked by Julia James’s relatives. Because we don’t, do we?

ICMI2020 video #27 of 126: Dr Seb Zein – “Feminism in STEM: Hiring, Bullying, Bad Evidence from Professional Scientists”

Video #27 is a presentation by Dr Seb Zein, details about him in the video description. Enjoy (49:31).

ICMI20 was very ambitious in scale – 126 speakers and interviewees – and many people haven’t caught all of the videos. To help remedy that, we’re publishing one video per day from early April until mid-August, so people have a reasonable chance of catching all, or most, of the material. Think of the videos as a daily Red Pill.

The videos will be published in the order in which they were originally published on our YouTube conference playlist. Paul Elam’s YouTube channel has 103,000+ subscribers – a few more than our own channel – and also features the playlist.

The cost of changing legal gender will reduce to just £5 from today

Our thanks to Steve for this. We look forward to male criminals paying a fiver to avoid custodial sentences, or at least to be incarcerated in a more pleasant environment than a Victorian hellhole.

Billie Eilish: Sexual misconduct is everywhere

Our thanks to Nigel for this BBC piece. He writes:

A wet bank holiday weekend. So a bit longer to peruse the online papers. Avoiding the state of BoJo’s decor. Briefly noting the “diversity” card unravelling for BAFTA as a hero goes to zero (in the back of my mind is the fact that the majority of black men lynched in “the south” were accused of rapes or sexual assaults). I find another “survey” where yet again women dating want “chivalry”. On an excursion to the BBC site attempt to find anything about what is happening in Ukraine (now WW3 appears to be off ). I find a not unexpected story of sexual carrying on in show biz. However there is something quite epically hypocritical and self-serving in Billie Eilish’s story, but so illustrative of having your cake and eating it.

So she admits she might “turn on” some of her audience, demands the right to look like a slut or “hoe”, asserts her delight in showing skin and in a simply hilariously display of “sex sells” is pictured in Vogue in her underwear and pouting like a burlesque dancer. All in pursuit of sales and fame.

Part of me wondered if the “journalist” at the BBC was being satirical, the piece is so riven with hypocrisy. Knowing that this is sexually exciting, even declaring men “weak” for being so allured (while using it to sell) yet demanding “respect”. It would be hilarious if it were not modern feminism’s stock-in-trade. One can imagine the very same images Billie sells, if found in a man’s locker at work, would be “proof” of misogyny or harassment.
