BBC Three tries to be satirical and fails with hilarious results

Today’s video (1:52) was published in 2015 by BBC Three. It’s taken from the comedy channel of my website Laughing at Feminists. Enjoy.

Next Sunday, 15 November, at 5:00pm GMT, I’ll be hosting “Laughing With Men”, a weekly series of 90-minute-long men-only Zoom meetings for creators and consumers of humorous materials, details here. You won’t need to download any software, just click on a link I’ll email you at 4:00pm. I look forward to meeting you.

The Not Woke Poets Society takes on Feminism

I’ve recently become aware of this subversive and heterodox organisation whose YouTube channel is full of excellent work that brings poetry up to date with common sense and does it with style and humour.

A Fish Needs a Bike – Mark Nevin

Mark Nevin is an interesting individual, achieving fame with his work with Fairground Attraction, he has since worked with many impressive names including Kirsty MacColl, Morrissey, Sandy Shaw and Albert Hammond. His songs have been covered many times, by artists including Julio Inglesias, Ringo Starr and David Bowie. Since 1999 he’s been working on a solo career in music and has a prolific output full of great songs including A Fish Needs a Bike (from 2019’s Strike Up the Sally Ann) and his latest release, New World Order.

Not only is Mark Nevin a skilled and fascinating songwriter however, if you check out his Twitter profile you’ll find that he’s also a highly interesting man politically…

Philomena Cunk – Feminists and Feminism (‘n’ mirrors :o)

Today’s video (5:11) was published in 2015 by Diane Wilson (Philomena Cunk), a hilarious woman, obviously not a feminist, by definition. It’s taken from the comedy channel of my website Laughing at Feminists. Enjoy.

Netflix: The Queen’s Gambit

I’ve just logged onto Netflix to end my day with a series I like to end my days with, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, starring Jerry Seinfeld. It’s an uplifting series, even if you have to skip over episodes with woeful feminist “comedians”. Netflix are promoting a new series, The Queen’s Gambit, featuring a sassy young women entering a chess tournament. Doubtless she’ll annihilate the expert male players in the series, because women are very strong in works of fiction.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, chess is the perfect example of how women reliably fail to compete with men at the highest levels, regardless of the nature of the competition, decade after decade. It’s something I analyse at length in my forthcoming ICMI talk with the snappy title, Buchanan’s Laws of Inter-Sexual Competition: Women Fail to Compete Successfully Against Men, and Why They Will Always Fail. It’s currently scheduled for publication at 08:00 on 14 November. Most of the talk was filmed in my principal summer residence, Buchanan Castle, near Loch Lomond in Scotland.

Number of children in state care hits 100,000 for the first time amid police fears over violent families and teens getting sucked into crime

Appalling. Feminists must be delighted, as the architects of the destruction of the nuclear family.

A priest’s lament for the Church of England he loved

A moving piece in today’s TCW.

My apology for the small number of blog pieces in recent days. I am very pressed for time due to work relating to the conference which starts in a week’s time – 01:00 GMT on Saturday, 14 November.
