William Collins: “Moral Usurpation”

Just published (video, 47:00).

William Collins, the blogger behind the important website The Illustrated Empathy Gap and the author of The Empathy Gap: Male Disadvantages and the Mechanisms of Their Neglect (2019) originally created this video with a view to it being published during the sixth International Conference on Men’s Issues. In the end he decided to submit another video for ICMI titled, “Men and Boys: Updated Lowlights”.

We thank William for his permission to allow us to post this video on our YouTube channel. The video on his own channel is here. His video description:

Moral Usurpation is my theory for what lies behind the success of the “progressive” mindset in taking over our culture. It is a form of moral corruption, passing itself off as moral probity. Being a faux-morality it is so much easier to adopt than the discipline of the real thing, and in this manner contrives to appeal to the masses and elites alike.
