Feminists praise Cardi B for rapping about her vagina and being paid for sex

The latest summer hit titled ‘WAP’ by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion has such wonderfully poetic lines, as:

“There’s some wh*res in this house”

“Wet-ass p*ssy, make that pullout game weak”

“Bring a bucket and a mop for this wet-ass p*ssy”

“Swipe your nose like a credit card”

“Spit in my mouth, look in my eyes”

“I want you to park that big Mack truck right in this little garage”

“I wanna gag, I wanna choke”

“I want you to touch that lil’ dangly thing that swing in the back of my throat”

“It’s goin’ in dry and it’s comin’ out soggy”

“I ride on that thing like the cops is behind me”

Feminists celebrate this song as an “empowering anthem” that’s “so important” and “should be celebrated”.

A review by Popsugar notes, “the exploitation and fetishisation of Black female bodies is rooted in colonialism, and free of both literal and metaphorical shackles, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion are spearheading a new wave of female empowerment”.

Teen Vogue’s senior identity editor writes, “black women have been oversexualized, falsely seen as having animalistic sexual desires to either be exploited or suppressed”.

It seems like the best way to fight fetishisation and animalistic oversexualisation is to crawl around in your lingerie, twerk next to some confused big cats, yell about how much you crave sex, and ask for money. Indeed, what could possibly be more empowering than insisting women’s only value lies in sex and demanding to be paid for it?

The journalists applauding the rappers’ sexual liberation conveniently overlook the following (highly eloquent) lines:

“Ask for a car while you ride that d*ck

You really ain’t never gotta f*ck him for a thang

He already made his mind up ‘fore he came”

Pay my tuition just to kiss me on this wet-ass p*ssy

Now make it rain if you wanna see some wet-ass p*ssy”

“I don’t cook, I don’t clean

But let me tell you how I got this ring”

“He got some money, then that’s where I’m headed

P*ssy A1 just like his credit”

If the reviewers were being honest, they would be praising the ladies for embracing sex work. That message would at least be sincere, regardless of what you think about strippers, prostitutes and gold-diggers.

However, by conflating female empowerment with resorting to selling one’s body for cash, feminists send an alarming message to everyone, but especially to teenagers. The boys and girls growing up listening to songs like this are bound to develop a distorted view of the other sex.

Ironically, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s feminist anthem only reinforces traditional gender stereotypes by encouraging young women to only sleep with wealthy men. How rebellious and progressive!

A brief encounter with Dr Joseph Spitzer, Male Genital Mutilator, Stamford Hill

I was pleased to be informed this morning that a Google search of “Dr Joseph Spitzer” leads to our piece from 2016 being seen in third place. YouTube took down the video of my confrontation of Spitzer at his clinic, with this message:

This video has been removed for violating YouTube’s policy on harassment and bullying.

What could be more bullying than criminally mutilating babies’ genitals?

Family judge who blamed (alleged) victim in (alleged) rape case steps down

Our thanks to Sally for this. An extract:

Tolson’s judgment in a case involving a contact order for a child garnered national media coverage at the beginning of the year when he incorrectly told a mother who had said she had been raped, that the assault by her abusive husband hadn’t constituted rape because she had not fought back.

The term “victim” should of course be replaced with “alleged victim”, and “rape” with “alleged rape”, throughout the article, as well as in the headline. Otherwise the husband is considered guilty until proven innocent, which will almost always be an impossibility. There are hundreds if not thousands of men in British prisons as a result of false rape allegations.

MRAdio, Episode 1, The State of the Nation – Circumcision

Philipp Tanzer, Eccentrik Hat and myself have started a new project, MRAdio. The first video (15:42) is a discussion about male genital mutilation in the U.K. – to follow will be conversations about a range of male disadvantages, all of which should collectively paint a picture of The State of the Nation with regards to sex equality.
