Cassie Jaye has published a very moving tribute to Marc Angelucci, on Facebook.

She writes:

I’m at a loss for the right words, but I’ll do my best.

One of my dearest friends and the most brilliant and good-hearted person to dedicate his life to justice for men and boys, Marc Angelucci, was murdered yesterday in front of his home in California.

News reports say: “52-year-old Marc Angelucci was found non-responsive and suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A motive for the shooting is unknown.”

I first met Marc in 2013. He was one of the first people I interviewed for The Red Pill. He had an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, a law degree from UCLA Law and when he saw one of his closest friends being physically abused by his wife and then denied access to resources because he was a man, Marc began investigating. He never initially planned on being a “men’s right attorney” (as I labeled him in my film), but his big heart wouldn’t let him turn his back on good, innocent people needing legal counsel. The more he worked on these cases, the more he learned how unjust the system was. In his 20 years of practicing law, he became one of the most sought after and effective attorneys to fight on behalf of men (and women) in cases where gender discrimination was apparent, such as cases involving: child custody, divorce, paternity laws, domestic violence services, criminal sentencing, military conscription, public benefits, false accusations and education. What really shows his big heart is that most of the work he did was pro bono. He couldn’t not help people who were so clearly being taken advantage of and abused by the system, so he volunteered his time and work for their right to justice.

The last time Marc and I spoke was on July 1st, just 10 days before his death. The last time I saw him was on my wedding day (he was only 1 of 2 people I invited to my wedding who were in The Red Pill).

When we met 7 years ago, I never thought he would become such a big part of my life and my heart, but he really became like family to me. Although I’ve met so many wonderful people through making The Red Pill, there’s not very many I see eye-to-eye with 100% of the time, but I could always stand behind Marc 100% of the time. The more I got to know him, the more I realized he was truly an angel on Earth who only had goodness in his heart, was always honorable in the work he did, and he was really the one person that could truly enact legal change on state and federal levels on behalf of men and boys. He won so many cases that few would be willing to touch and fewer would be willing to do pro bono, but he did it because it was the right thing to do.

I honestly don’t know anyone else like him and that scares me. Who will carry on his legacy? His death is tragic, it wasn’t his time, he was in the prime of his life. He’s been working on so many important legal cases lately and I’m sure he had even bigger work on the horizon. I don’t know who could do this to him – and to us, because we have lost a real life hero.

I love you, Marc. I miss you. We will not forget you. Rest in peace, dear friend.“

Yesterday Elizabeth posted a piece about a new contributor to this blog – Natty Kadifa. A new party member, John, has just emailed me to ask how she got her nickname, “Wonder Natt”. I’m glad he asked.

In May 2019 Elizabeth Hobson and I gave talks at one of the ultimate strongholds of feminism in academia, Cambridge University, where we look forward to returning one day. Only Oxford University is said to be more corrupted by feminists. Our large collection of blog pieces about that eventful day is here. Natty earned the nickname “Wonder Natt” after chasing and apprehending a feminist who threw a milkshake over Mike and some J4MB supporters. She had the presence of mind to record the odious woman on her smartphone. I bring some deeply sad news that has rocked the MRM to the core.

Marc Angelucci, National Coalition for Men Vice-President and attorney, died at his home in California about 24 hours ago, after sustaining gunshot wounds.

Marc was a dynamic and much-loved MRA, with a string of legal successes on gender issues to his name. He will be greatly missed. His ICMI19 speech, in Chicago, was Sue the Bastards (video, 47:26). His ICMI17 speech, in Australia, was Freeing Men Through Activism.

I had the pleasure of meeting Marc at three ICMIs, it was always a delight to spend time with him.

This is a blow to the MRM, particularly in the US, but we march on. It’s what Marc would have wanted.

We’ve just published this (video, 4:04:34). The timetable of speakers is here, Philip’s 78-minute-long speech starts at 01:01:05. Sadly his attempt to talk out the Bill was ultimately unsuccessful, because the number of MPs present – 100+ – meant that talking out the Bill wasn’t possible. A noble stand against a ridiculous Bill, all the same, and we salute him.

I just want to thank everyone who has shared and donated. I was hurt not seeing my Son due to the lies and false allegations my wife made despite no evidence on her part and the many clear evidence I have which was overlooked. But now there is proof my innocent Son has been “coached” by a third party, I am more hurt and desperate to see him again and free him of that. He told a Social Worker he wanted to see me, Cafcass ignored that and stated he’s clearly changed his mind. I am appealing the final decision as I have clear grounds to. The copy of my police interview and the transcript of the Fact Finding hearing will expose lies and many mistakes made by my Wife and by the Judge. Thank you so much.”

A man claimed he had no idea his wife was pretending to be blind and wheelchair-bound when she scammed £1 million in benefits.

John Pomfrey, 60, said he was clueless to his wife Christina’s lies which have now landed her in prison.

On Monday, the 65-year-old grandmother, from Runcorn, Cheshire, was jailed for three years and eight months after she pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to multiple counts of fraud, false accounting and making or supplying articles for use in frauds.

She lied she was totally blind and wheelchair-bound, but surveillance by investigators showed her driving, going for a walk unaided while reading a newspaper and collecting her grandchildren from school.

Mr Pomfrey, who married Christina in 2005, told the Daily Mail: “People think I must have known what she was up to and where all the money went, but the answer to both is I don’t have a clue.

“She has destroyed my life and I cannot forgive her. She is the craftiest woman I have ever known.”

Three and a half years’ imprisonment for stealing £1,000,000 from taxpayers. And she’ll surely be out in well under three years. This isn’t a sentence to punish the crime, it’s a sentence to ENCOURAGE the crime.
