An outstanding piece just published by William Collins, in response to an article on “feckless fathers” published on TCW three days ago, just three days before Fathers’ Day.

I was reminded by the TCW piece of the occasion when David Cameron spoke of “feckless fathers” before Fathers’ Day. The comprehensive Index in Cameron’s autobiograpy On the Record (2019) includes neither the word “fathers” nor “feminism”.

Cameron writes admiringly about Harriet Harman in the book, on p.243 saying she had “a strong but likeable character, with a good sense of humour.”
