Note I wrote ‘her’, because the new leader has to be a woman. Not even the Labour Party, in its current confused state, could contemplate electing a man to lead an official opposition that is predominantly female.

I’d call Susan Dalgety a blithering idiot, but that would be unkind to blithering idiots. Talking of blithering idiots, we too hope a prime example, Jess Phillips, will be the next Labour leader. Boris will tear her to pieces whilst engaging 10% of his brain capacity, while she uses 100% of hers. PMQs will surely be more entertaining than usual.
