Last night the BBC broadcast this 41-minute documentary by Adnan Sarwar, a British Muslim journalist, which people with access to BBC iPlayer will be able to catch for the next 29 days. It could have been so much more hard-hitting, and revealed (for example) that ALL male circumcision is very harmful, not just “botched” operations. But it’s a start, I think the first time the BBC has broadcast a TV documentary on the topic. I’ve emailed Adnan with materials he should read, and pointed him to our YouTube MGM playlist, which contains 97 audio and video pieces.
