Government vows to protect women from unwanted penis photos

Our thanks to Claire for this. An extract:

In the YouGov survey, 46% of women aged under 36 said they have been sent a photo of a penis, with 41% saying they had not asked for it. [J4MB: So, 59% of women HAD asked for it. Women, eh? What are they like?]

Margaret Gardener, Director of False Allegations Support Organisation (FASO): “Psychological impact of false accusations of sexual abuse”

Our thanks to Tom, who has filmed and edited the presentations videos at the last three ICMIs, for this. It was an event run by the Male Psychology Network. From the video description:

Margaret Gardener, Director of False Allegations Support Organisation (FASO), gives at talk on the psychological aspects of false allegations of sexual abuse. The talk focuses on the psychological / emotional impact on the person falsely accused, rather than the accuser. This event took place on 28th Feb 2019 at University College London (UCL).

About the speaker: Margaret Gardener has a background in voluntary emergency nursing and prior to this a career in the civil service, serving abroad during this time, which helped to improve her communication skills. She was a registered foster carer for special needs teenagers and was catapulted through a family experience, as a volunteer, into the False Allegations Support Organisation in 2001. Her first role at FASO was Secretarial, she then progressed to the helpline (using her empathy skills, and supporting callers in their distress). As the Director of FASO (UK) she addresses parliament and agencies both criminal and family through the medium of consultations and meetings, whilst liaising with academia and like-minded groups. She addresses in part the issues of the hidden victims, both children/vulnerable adults and the accused parent/individual on safeguarding issues.

NEW YORK TIMES: Google finds it’s underpaying many men as it addresses wage equity

Our thanks to Ray and others for this. An extract:

Google seems to be advancing a “flawed and incomplete sense of equality” by making sure men and women receive similar salaries for similar work, said Joelle Emerson, chief executive of Paradigm, a consulting company that advises companies on strategies for increasing diversity. That is not the same as addressing “equity,” she said, which would involve examining the structural hurdles that women face as engineers.

My brain hurts.

Women’s cycling race forced to pause after lead rider catches men’s race

An unconsciously hilarious piece. The headline (above) could be re-written as:

Fastest female cyclist in a race came close to catching up with the slowest male cyclist.

There was only a 10-minute gap between the men’s race starting, and the women’s race. I suspect that the leading female cyclist, Nicole Hanselmann, rode at an unsustainably fast pace precisely in an effort to catch up with the men’s race. The suspicion is reinforced by these extracts:

The Swiss cyclist Nicole Hanselmann of the Bigla Pro team surged into an early lead of almost two minutes …

After being allowed to resume, Hanselmann was given a headstart on the peloton but was quickly reeled in and eventually finished in 74th place.

“It was a bit sad for me because I was in a good mood and when the bunch sees you stopping, they just get a new motivation to catch you,” she told Cyclingnews. “We could just see the ambulances of the men’s race. [J4MB: So, hardly “almost caught up with her male counterparts”, then] I think we stopped for five or seven minutes and then it just kills your chances.” [J4MB: So, less an amazing cyclist, more a whiny narcissistic woman with poor motivation.]

The blindingly obvious “solution” to the “problem” of women’s races having to be interrupted in this way, is to increase the gap between the start of the men’s race, and the start of the women’s race. Alternatively, let there be no gendering in the start times, and enjoy the spectacle of the slowest man overtaking the fastest woman.

Caroline Maguire, 51, mother-of-two, broke the bank at Brighton casino where she worked by creating fake winners to pocket £50,000 that she blew on lavish lifestyle (and then kept her court case secret from her family although she faced jail). Suspended sentence.

Our thanks to Mike P for this. An extract:

Previously Judge Jeremy Gold QC ordered £6,000 to be frozen from her account, and she now faces court proceedings so the money can be reclaimed. [J4MB: So, not a penny more?]

Brian Shaw, defending, said his client has lost her previous good character ‘spectacularly’.

He said: ‘The trigger seems [J4MB: seems?] to have been the death of her mother, perhaps bringing up unpleasant memories from her childhood. [J4MB: perhaps?]

‘Although initially taking small amounts to pay for household bills, her expenditure increased to more expensive tastes.’ [J4MB: Her expenditure increased… BAD expenditure!]

Mr Shaw asked the judge not to impose a curfew because she has ‘not been able to confide in her husband at this point’. [J4MB: You couldn’t make this s*** up.]

Non-feminist demonstration outside #March4Women 2019

When I heard that Care International were holding this years #March4Women indoors, I couldn’t stop laughing. Upon assessing today’s weather report however, I had to concede that they may well have been on to something when they made that decision!

Nevertheless, we persisted! Yes, our beautiful group of warriors for equality (Janice Fiamengo’s words, not mine!) braved the inclement weather to take a stand against feminism.

Some interesting conversations were had, between our non-feminist collective and the feminist attendees. They varied, from respectful and earnest attempts to achieve mutual understanding – to us fending off insults and verbal abuse. One feminist hoped I would be victimised (I thanked her) and another was outrageously aggressive to several of us – particularly our cameraman. Had he responded in kind, I have no doubt that the police would have been called to the scene.

A big thank you to today’s non-feminist collective for braving the weather – and the ideologically possessed!

Video and audio recordings will be made available on our YouTube channel as soon as possible.
