America has a boy crisis

Excellent article by Chris Salcedo referencing the wisdom of Warren Farrell, “The boy crisis resides where fathers do not reside.”

Suspended over sexual harassment complaints at work, Noida techie commits suicide

Another #MeToo suicide.

In his suicide note, Swaroop Raj wrote to his wife:

“I want to let you know how much I love you. Two of the employees have alleged me with sexual harassment but trust me I didn’t do anything. I know the world will understand this but you and your families should trust me. The allegations are baseless and the entire Genpact will soon know about it, I don’t have the courage to face everyone. I want you to be strong and live your life with respect, your husband has not done anything. I am leaving because everyone will look at me with eyes of disgust even if I come clean.”

The Glass Blind Spot, Problems with Men: Pathos

Another excellent video (31:08) from The Glass Blind Spot series, Problems with Men. Exploring the gender empathy gap, this episode highlights the work of Karen Straughan and Peter Wright. Highly recommended.

International Women’s Day Preparations

It’s just 10 weeks to International Women’s Day, Friday, 8 March, and 2019 is the year to set heads spinning with a strong turn out of women to mark the event from non-feminist perspectives.

Natty Kadifa and I are pulling together a team to make our presence felt in London. We have a collection of bright and beautiful banners (that we’re keeping under wraps till the day) and will be solidifying our plans in the near future.

We’re looking for other non-feminist women to collaborate with both in London and elsewhere. Please do get in touch if you’re interested in participating.

Comments left in response to an article in The Times about a Nigerian mother’s twin son, who died following MGM in Italy

I’ve just posted some comments in response to the article, here. Hopefully they won’t be deleted, as a number of them have been (along with comments from other people, most of which seemed to me perfectly reasonable).
