William Collins’s website

Whilst seeking some material for a letter I’m writing to a Magistrates’ Court – more on this in coming days – I checked out William Collins’s website, The Illustrated Empathy Gap, and specifically the Index. There, I found links to the subject I was looking for, in seconds. It truly is a remarkable website, the result of years of hard work, exploring gender issues. As I’ve said often here and elsewhere, for me – and for many others – he remains the most important blogger on gender issues in the world.

In a fair world, William Collins would get a knighthood. In this world, he’ll get a pint of beer, and a friendly pat on the arm, the next time I see him.

Why not post a comment on this blog piece, telling William what his work has meant to you, and thanking him for it?
