  1. To me the feminist attitude seems massively patronising to women who choose to work as grid girls/walk on girls/promo models, or even women who choose to work as outright strippers.

Men can be allowed to make that choice and decide for themselves whether they feel objectified – when the Chippendales dancers say that they’re OK with it their opinions are taken seriously.

In contrast, there were plenty of grid girls, etc. who defended their jobs and said they didn’t feel exploited, but feminists dismissed them as brainwashed by the patriarchy and incapable of making their own decisions. As one feminist writer for the Independent condescendingly put it: “sisters need saving from themselves.”

It’s like feminists view men as adults with agency and women as children who need to be controlled.

  2. “Women paw these guys all night. I can see a big issue down the line with men just getting very resentful and feeling: ‘Why is it only about male behaviour?'”

Some of us have been asking that question for years… Sotto voice, because we don’t want to be utterly destroyed by the feminazis, who don’t seem to realise they are supposed to be helpless and powerless.

Also, was I the only one gobsmacked at how she could listen to the stripper say that blood was drawn from some of their acts, but still conclude: “This is important because nobody can feel like they are buying the dancers, singling them out, asking for attention, or favours or, ultimately, sex”.

Right… you are at a show you have paid money to go to, to grab, scratch and fondle buff naked young men (show me the pensioner strippers and I shall take this back)…but you’re saying it’s not about sex. Truly, the hamster is strong in this one. Either that, or there really isn’t a gynocentric conspiracy, we’re just dealing with some fabulously thick people here.

Incidentally, were any of the hostesses allegedly pawed at the President’s Club ever scratched hard enough to draw blood? Nope, didn’t think so.
