  1. I won’t click on the link because I will not soil my senses with anything shat out by the BBC, but I will say this. Canada used to be a country of Mounties, of bear-wrestling backwoodsmen (backwoodspeople?) and gentlemen known for wearing live racoons as hats, and in the blink of an eye it has become a land of harpies, handbags and hairdresser’s assistants. What the helly hell happened? Did a range of crotchless longjohns come into fashion and the majority of Canadian men let their balls freeze off one winter?

    • They are still freezing. What happened was the country became rich and spawned great cities and lots of office jobs and opportunities for people like Trudeau. The frozen workers are busy and don’t have time to generate “twitter storms” or online petitions. It is the triumph of the comfortable. Who probably think bears are more valuable than the oil rednecks and loggers .

  2. A handsome scion of a political “dynasty” with wealth and privilege in every line of his biography. So in fact typical of many whose very establishment life is a platform for “virtue signalling” and “s…ting” on their brothers who have to earn everything. Of course he was as reported condescending to the questioner as every moment given to her rambling incoherent babble was a minute he couldn’t be asked a difficult question. So why not indulge? Blair, Cameron, Boris the list goes on…… merrily playing the virtue game because it barely inconveniences them as much as a cold coffee.

  4. Being handsome allows him to get away with his over-the-top narcissism. People with personality disorders had a developmental arrest in childhood and are empty shells. They need to create a false self in order to function and thrive. In JT’s case, he used postmodernism. He has fuzzy boundaries where he confuses his own megalomaniacal messiah complex with what others should do.
    The cure for people like this is to shame them into oblivion by being extremely harsh with them in order to wake them up from their narcissistic position where they merely use you as an object. Showing them extreme anger and telling them to mind their own bloody business produces a stinging narcissistic injury that penetrates their shell and communicates to them that you are actually a living breathing being and not an object and produces enough shame that it penetrates to their core and wakes them up.
    I’ve done this twice at work and with great effect. It is the only thing that works. Unfortunately because he is the prime minister no one will want to give him the spanking that he deserves. People will for the most part suck up to him and thank him for teaching them something. And sadly some women will fall for his ‘dreamy’ looks and go along with anything he says.
