Actress Shailene Woodley: #MeToo Movement ‘Ushering in Sacred Matriarchy’ (holy cow!)

Our thanks to Mike P for this. An extract, emphasis ours:

The 26-year-old actress, who walked the red carpet at the Golden Globes alongside Native American activist and artist Calina Lawrence, said it meant so much to her to “witness an industry that for so long has been divided by competition, fear, ego, jealousy, comparison (all products of patriarchal conditioning) radically put aside these destructive paradigms in order to unite & heal.”

  1. Wikipedia puts it like this:-

    “….The Gaia hypothesis (/ˈɡaɪ.ə/ GYE-ə, /ˈɡeɪ.ə/ GAY-ə), also known as the Gaia theory or the Gaia principle, proposes that living organisms interact with their inorganic surroundings on Earth to form a synergistic and self-regulating, complex system that helps to maintain and perpetuate the conditions for life on the planet.

    The hypothesis was formulated by the chemist James Lovelock[1] and co-developed by the microbiologist Lynn Margulis in the 1970s.[2] Lovelock named the idea after Gaia, the primordial goddess who personified the Earth in Greek mythology…..”

    Thank heavens Goddess Mother Gaia has at last chosen to show us the light of her Holy Matriarchal Life Force Wisdom that permeates the devine feminine ecosphere, breathing life into the souls of her blessed peace and truth loving daughters, is all I can say.

    So much for the Patriarchal Oppression Mechanisms of so called ‘scientific mathematics’.

    E=mc2 ?
    Hah!
    Who wants to be good at that?

    And another thing, – what have the Romans ever done for us anyway…..

    • In and of itself, the Gaia hypothesis is not such a crazy idea. It concerns how biological feedback mechanisms interact with inorganic chemistry in order to keep the biosphere in a steady state.

      The trouble with the Gaia hypothesis is that numerous hippy & age of Aquarius types picked up the idea and, by this unfortunate association, Lovelock’s conjecture came to be ridiculed by the general public.

      As far as I am aware, the hypothesis remains on the table, never having been either convincingly proven or wholly debunked.

      • Yes, I think you may well be right on those specific points Godfrey.

        The risibility comes by association as you say!
