In reading Murray’s article, one may perceive that its author is genuinely impressed by Peterson’s verve and panache.

Very good piece. Having only seen the video of his lecture I was impressed, and moved by his account of his daughter’s fight with illness. That rarity an academic who genuinely wants to make his knowledge useful and even more important someone who has not sought popularity but who is popular for what he has to impart, his initial fame being on what is the most esoteric of issues. He puts me in mind of Cassie Jaye in speaking eloquently and sincerely about values that are at the core of the rich and comfortable society we live in but which are weakened, often precisely by people that would simply be done away with in any society in the past and many today.
