Rhine Bernardino, Filipino ‘artist’, using menstrual blood in her London exhibition

Our thanks to Martin for this. An extract:

According to Bernardino, her work is a comment on human perception and her belief in the potential of art to encourage social change.

According to Buchanan, she’s a talentless narcissistic blithering idiot.

  1. Undoubtedly, she sensed an opportunity for easy money with minimum effort necessary, as long as she panders to local feminists’ deranged tastes and agenda.

  2. Oh dear. One is inevitably reminded of Tracy Emin’s ‘The Unmade Bed’. Only the late Brian Sewell had the courage to point out that the Emperor had no clothes. If you can’t paint or draw you are not (or should not be called) an artist by definition.

I’m told you can still buy mugs with ‘Hurrah for Brian Sewell!’ embossed on them. Get one while you can.

    • Despite being unable to draw, she was (maybe still is) the Professor of Drawing at the Royal Academy. Dead RAs must be rolling in their graves.
