The occurrence of female teachers’ sexual abuse of minor male students is probably far higher than that of male teachers. Female teachers feel emboldened by the fact they hardly ever go to prison and their sentences, if at all charged, are usually a small fraction compared to male teachers’ sentences. Our society preaches equality, but it treats women far more leniently in every aspect of the law and life in general. And the only logical explanation for this situation is the gentleman mind sets of men, left over from an era of entirely different social system. As long as men think they must abide by this totally outdated tradition, the current status quo will continue. Men need to ‘liberate’ themselves from their own traditional gentleman behavior, just like women ‘liberated’ themselves form their old classy lady-like behavior. Until men do this, the playing field will be tipped against them 100%.
