Daniel Storey (Football365) lied about what Mike Buchanan said on BBC Radio Nottingham

I sense there are now few people checking out Daniel Storey’s recent hit piece, so few people will have seen a comment I posted yesterday on the website:

A number of people have requested that I respond to the claims of Daniel Storey (the writer of this hit piece) about what I reportedly said in a discussion on BBC Radio Nottingham last Monday, 31 October. We’ve just posted on our YouTube channel the full discussion. The relevant section is 4:18 – 5:36. You will note that Storey has added, deleted, and changed words, and excluded altogether the comments made by the interviewer, for context. He has, in short, shown the same low level of journalistic integrity he’s shown in the article in general. This is gutter journalism, with the clear objective of stopping the next International Conference on Men’s Issues being held at St Andrew’s Stadium.

  1. Storey is a malicious, disingenuous and dishonest would be manipulator whose aim is to cause pernicious damage, and obstruct justice.

Justice for Men and Boys in particular that is.

I’ll wager closer examination will reveal him to be the serial repeat offender, purveyor of agitprop, and cultural Marxist Long Marcher that he so very much looks like.
Ironically, the more he disinforms the greater the disbelief he will provoke.

A sort of well deserved ‘hoist by own petard’ outcome really.

  2. J4MB’s Manifesto CLEARLY states on p30, proposal 2 that –

J4MB DO NOT want public funding for FEMALE domestic violence victims to be reduced.

Proposal 2 -“Without reducing the support given to female victims of IPV…”

From these words we can see clear as day that

J4MB want female victims of IPV (inter personal violence) to receive public funding.
J4MB want public funding for female victims of domestic violence to stay the same as it is.
    Logically following from that
J4MB want domestic violence organisations to receive public funding,
J4MB want public funding for domestic violence organisations to stay as it is.

For anyone to give any other impression would be wrong.

What J4MB also wants is recognition of male domestic violence victims
and fairness and equality for male victims of domestic violence.
In a society that values EQUALITY then ALL victims of domestic violence whatever their gender should get EQUAL ACCESS to domestic violence funding, compassion, refuge places, help lines, counselling etc.
Anyone who has not read J4MB’s Manifesto, who knows nothing of J4MB,presented with the following few, stand alone words written by Daniel Storey would be left with a completely misleading and incorrect impression of J4MB’s view on funding for domestic violence victims and domestic violence organisations.

Storey writes “Amongst the points in Buchanan’s detailed manifesto is criticism for the public funding of Women’s domestic abuse organisations such as Women’s Aid …”

These stand alone words surely give the hurtful and damaging impression and could easily be interpreted by 99% of readers as meaning J4MB criticises and objects in principle to public funding being used to fund domestic violence organisations. This is completely untrue.
Storey’s statement is either a sloppy use of language or a deliberate attempt to mislead his readers about J4MB’s views on domestic violence support.
The false impression he leaves is either intentional or unintentional, only Daniel Storey knows which of these it is.
It looks like Daniel Storey has not read J4MB’s section on Domestic Violence carefully enough and has not presented it carefully enough.
