Sam Kriss, Breitbart-hating writer who ranted against ‘misogynists’, forced to apologise for sexual harassment

Our thanks to Andy for this. The piece includes this tweet from Jess Phillips MP, the Yardley Gob:

I didn’t know who Sam Kriss was before today but his admission of sexual assault means he belongs in prison, [J4MB emphasis] a casual backhanded apology is not a thing.

  1. Well part of me thinks serves the fool right. Virtue signalling idiot. The worrying thing about the whole revived all males are harassers moral panic kicked off by Hollywood’s “casting couch” scandals is that one can see it being used to criminalise males rather than the behaviours.

One can see this in this BBC piece. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-41665049
Most of it trundles on with a reasonable set of propositions that a “sex sells” society creates all sorts of problems in defining “flirtation” and “harassment”. Clothed in a sensible idea of guiding young people into appropriate behaviour. But then cleverly slides into the Police (Notts.) definition of “misogyny”

” The force defines those as: “Incidents against women that are motivated by an attitude of a man towards a woman and includes behaviour targeted towards a woman by men simply because they are a woman.”

And puts weight behind creating a Law. Imagine a crime based on such a subjective and vague definition. I am one of those who still cannot escape those small signs of chivalry that are ingrained. opening doors, ladies first, going up ladders to sort bulbsetc. sorting colleagues flat tyres etc. All behaviours that are frankly “targeted” at women! Now I try to do the same for blokes but that’s only really compensating. Such a definition renders all behaviours however helpfully intended, “criminal” if somehow they are unwelcome.
I can see the “Gents” (perhaps including “the Mogg”) easily persuaded to get behind a Bill that purports to address boorish behaviours by movie moguls or drunken Rugby teams; but which actually criminalises anything, however well intended or ordinary. We have seen this already with children interviewed by police over “racism”, septuagenarian ministers over “homophobia” etc.
In a society in which the vast majority both believe and behave as if the sexes are different it would be almost impossible not to have some behaviours not based on this perception of difference.

I hope JFM&B keeps an eye out for such a dangerous Bill.

  2. When are cucks like this going to learn that making a pass at anyone describing themselves as a feminist is basically the equivalent of a Victorian woman confessing she felt lust around guys? It’s social, career and possibly liberty suicide.
