Fiction writers refuse to accept they stereotype characters and reinforce prejudices. The rise of US gun crime parallels fiction crime and dramatised news.
It’s a long observed fact that the left in general will insert itself where it can do the most damage.
Thus if there’s a revolution somewhere one of the first objectives is to take over the radio and tv stations.
It’s the same here, although perhaps with less reliance on guns than is sometimes the case.
Witness what has happened at the bbc,
and itv occupies a similar enough position for similar enough techniques to be employed there.
