Channel 4 news presenter Jon Snow says he can’t remember shouting ‘f*** the Tories’ during a group photo at Glastonbury

Appalling. Note that Snow doesn’t deny shouting ‘f*** the Tories’, presumably in case video footage of exactly that emerges, merely that he has no ‘recollection’ it. Channel 4 News is as relentlessly Left-wing and feminist-driven as anything the BBC broadcasts. An extract from the article:

In a statement Mr Snow told MailOnline that, ‘after a day at Glastonbury I can honestly say I have no recollection of what was chanted, sung or who I took over 1000 selfies with.’

A Channel 4 spokeswoman confirmed Mr Snow would not be commenting further.

Some MPs called for the Channel 4 News anchor to be sacked over the alleged remarks.

Andrew Bridgen, MP for North West Leicestershire, said: ‘His position as a serious political interviewer is untenable after that vociferous, deeply offensive outburst.

‘How could he possibly interview a Conservative politician after that outburst? It’s disgraceful. He should to the decent thing and resign. If not, he should be sacked, of course.’

Fellow MP Philip Davies, who previously accused Snow of not hiding his political allegiances, said: ‘It is a clear example of political bias, and is completely unacceptable for a publicly-owned, public service broadcaster to be so blatantly partisan.

‘Channel 4 should dismiss him immediately from his position. If they do not, they would be just as guilty as he is.

Serena Williams orders John McEnroe to ‘respect me and my privacy’ after he said she would ‘rank about 700th on the men’s circuit’

Williams had admitted in the past that she’d probably lose to a male champion in ten minutes or less.

When interviewed on ‘Late Night with David Letterman’ four years ago, she said: ‘For me, men’s tennis and women’s tennis are completely, almost, two separate sports.

‘If I were to to play Andy Murray, I would lose 6-0, 6-0 in five to six minutes, maybe ten minutes. No, it’s true. It’s a completely different sport.

‘The men are a lot faster and they serve harder, they hit harder. It’s just a different game. I love to play women’s tennis. I only want to play girls, because I don’t want to be embarrassed.’

What Serena Williams should be embarrassed about is earning the same prize money (e.g. at Wimbledon) as the male prize winners, whilst only playing as well as the #700 male seed. Like all her colleagues, she’s a shameless parasite on the men’s game.

French gender equality minister Marlène Schiappa: Men should be given €5,000 (£4,400) on the spot fine for sexual harassment (talking to women on their own)

Lunacy in France. An extract:

In the interview, Ms Schiappa suggested that part of the problem was male attitudes. “Men feel it’s acceptable: they’re being ‘the French lover’.”

“It’s that moment when a man is walking behind a woman, talking to her, and the woman can do nothing, because she’s alone. [J4MB: Could she not talk to the man? I know feminists are dumb, but this is ridiculous.]

Ms Schiappa expressed concern that women who were sexually assaulted blamed themselves. Only a large fine would act as a deterrent – a smaller amount would only be seen as “a bit humiliating,” she said.

Of course not only should men not speak to women on their own, their gaze should not fall upon them, unless solicited. In 2013 I suggested a solution to the ‘problem’ of men looking at women – here.

Philip Cross, major editor of J4MB Wikipedia entry: “I don’t consider any J4MB sources and claims credible”.

In recent days we’ve pointed to heavy editing of the J4MB Wikipedia page by Philip Cross. Our thanks to a supporter for pointing us to the Talk section, where editors explain and justify their actions. An extract from Philip Cross’s contributions, in the ‘2015 general election mention’ section:

Let me put it as simply as I can: Men Rape and Assault Women. These are crimes which have a low conviction rate, most of which are not even reported to the police. Now, if a self-styled mens’ rights party ignores the issue of rape, or makes excuses for rapists, as has been alleged, [J4MB: Cross repeats a false allegation] it becomes a party of mens’ licence.

In downplaying the issue of violence against half of the population, [J4MB: we don’t, but we’re a men’s rights party, so obviously we cover violence suffered by men, which other parties don’t] in fact women constitute about 52% of the population, the attitudes of such a party becomes a social and political issue.

I don’t consider any J4MB sources and claims credible, [J4MB emphasis] and no one in any reliable source would seem to do so either.

Needless to say, ‘reliable sources’ are those that present feminist narratives, and attack J4MB. So there you have it. The prime editor of the J4MB Wikipedia page in recent times is a man who doesn’t consider any of our sources and claims credible, and is deeply hostile towards us.

Mike Buchanan brings a private prosecution against Joseph Spitzer, a doctor who’s circumcised thousands of boys

Ending the non-therapeutic circumcision of male minors – Male Genital Mutilation, MGM – in the UK has been the leading campaign of J4MB over the past two years. We have considerably increased public awareness that MGM is illegal, being at least Actual Bodily Harm under the Offences Against the Person Act 1861, and probably Grievous Bodily Harm. It would require a parliamentary override for MGM to be legal, and that has never existed. No exemptions to the law in England and Wales are permissible on religious or cultural grounds.

Mike Buchanan will tomorrow present a ‘written information’ – a document outlining the details of a private prosecution, here – at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court, charging Joseph Spitzer, a prominent London-based doctor and mohel (Jewish ritual circumciser), with inflicting Actual Bodily Harm, a criminal offence under the OAPA 1861. Spitzer claims to have circumcised thousands of boys over his 35-year ‘career’, presumably most of them at just eight days of age, in line with Jewish tradition.

In a press release to be emailed shortly to leading journalists, Mike Buchanan states:

Male Genital Mutilation is illegal in the UK, it’s a human rights violation under UN and EU conventions, and it’s equally as unethical as Female Genital Mutilation (Brian D Earp, University of Oxford ethicist). It results in physical and sometimes psychological harm, and it has no place in modern Britain.
