Our thanks to Patrick for a link to an appalling article by New York based EJ Dickson titled, I Circumcised My Son, & I Don’t Regret It One Bit. It appears not to have occurred to her that he might come to regret the mutilation of his genitals in the name of a religion he may well decide not to follow. Extracts:

I didn’t circumcise him for religious or even hygienic reasons, but for overtly political ones. [my emphasis]

The irony is that by behaving like this and writing this article, she’s actually increasing anti-semitism. One has to ask the question, “If being a Jew means you support the grievous bodily harm of children, which she is saying here, then how can a society that abhors child abuse not be anti-semitic?”

Here’s a thought:
If a mother tattooed “Jews mutilate baby boys’ penises, so I am a proud anti-semite” on her babies’ stomachs, this woman would be outraged and fully support the state taking the children away from her and prosecuting her for child abuse. So would most people in society.
But while the tattooing of babies is obviously terrible, it’s nevertheless a million times less damaging than cutting off the sole erogenous organ from a baby boy’s penis, rendering him sexually dysfunctional, giving him erectile difficulties, ruining his sex life for life, and creating the possibility of mental issues like depression because of it. A tattoo can be removed, but nobody can reverse foreskin amputation since the organ is in the trash, or in the case of the USA, in one of Oprah Winfrey’s anti-ageing creams.
We live in a society in which saying “I hate Jews” publicly will result in your career being destroyed and , in the case of countries like the UK, being charged with “inciting hatred” and racism, while publicly announcing “I amputated my Jewish son’s foreskin and I’m proud of it” will result in nothing negative happening to your career and no prosecution, even though conducting grieveous bodily harm on a child because he’s Jewish is quite clearly a hate crime as it’s done to the child specifically because of his race and his gender, and torture and genital mutilation are infinitely worse than 3 spoken words.
We truly are living in a society with little to no rationality.

Was either his mother or father present at this barbaric act masquerading as an ‘ancient rite? Shame on them both, I just home they live long enough to see the damage they have done to their child.

Agreed… then he’ll pass on the ‘gift’ by having his own sons’ penises mutilated. Too depressing for words. I tweeted EJ Dickson, inviting her to check out some materials including the ‘Jews Against Circumcision’ Brit Shalom leaflet, she declined to click on the links on the pretext she didn’t want to give me ‘traffic’, then thanked me for directing traffic her way with the blog piece. My final tweet to her read something like, “You’re not clicking on those links to avoid remorse for mutilating your innocent baby boy’s genitals. Good luck with that!”

She’s a vile witch. The boasting about it proved that. If her son does end up distraught later in life and complains about it, she’ll likely tell him to stop whining.
