Today was a red letter day for J4MB. Our protest led to the closure of an MGM clinic – we hadn’t warned the clinic in advance of our plans – a few minutes after our arrival. In the coming days we’ll be posting video footage of the event. Suffice to say, at this stage, that we created quite an impact.
A number of anti-MGM protesters, including three estimable young ladies, protested outside the Thornhill Clinic in Luton, and by the nearby main road, a major thoroughfare. We handed out a large number of leaflets to passers-by – the two leaflet sides are here and here – and engaged in many constructive discussions, informing the local populace about the illegality of MGM. Very few people displayed even the slightest hostility towards us.
We’re looking forward to protesting frequently outside the Thornhill Clinic this year.
If everyone who read this gave us just £1 – or even better, £1 monthly – we could change the world. Click here to make a difference. Thanks.

Will they just set up shop elsewhere, though, is the big question. I wonder why they closed. Hate mail from the locals?

The clinic closed because we were vociferously making it clear the clinic – yards behind us – is a crime scene, holding placards asserting it, handing out leaflets proving it.

It surprises me because every pro-circer who I speak to laughs incredulously when I explain it’s illegal. They genuinely think I’m talking nonsense.

That could be because ‘certain people’ have been encouraged to believe that our laws don’t apply to them and the political clout to ensure that they don’t.

Congratulations Mike. Has the place closed for good or did they just call it quits for the day? Whichever, that was undeniably a good result.

The place opens from 3:30 – 5:30 on Thursdays, we arrived 3:30 and they closed for the day. I’m sure they haven’t closed for good, but we plan to return regularly.

If it is illegal, then why no prosecutions?

Thanks Stephen. There is not the slightest question that MGM is illegal in the UK. No politician or government department we’ve ever contacted denies it. I suspect you know the answer to your question. Please share it with us.
