Is Emma Watson anti-feminist for exposing her breasts?

We return to Emma Watson’s breasts. Our thanks to Stu for this. He notes that ‘anti-feminist’ is becoming the favoured term for radical feminists to employ against self-declared feminists who are guilty of thoughtcrime or exploiting their physical attractiveness for personal gain – the latter being impossible for the overwhelming majority of feminists, for obvious reasons.

Emma Watson is criticised in the article by Dr Finn Mackay, a radical feminist parasite ‘academic’. It’s not too difficult to tell them apart:

Coming soon: FEMINISM 5.0

My thanks to Ann for this. She’s just had an email from the Women’s Equality Party, which leads to just this. It’s apparent even feminists have been embarrassed by the ‘fourth wave’ of feminism, represented by whiny lying gormless toxic Special Snowflakes such as Laura Bates and Caroline Criado-Perez – and, ironically, Sophie Walker and Sandi Toxic of the Women’s Equality Party. It’s time for some rebranding… the fifth wave of this hateful ideology… can’t wait…

Oxford University targets new underclass – poor white males

Interesting. One of the comments, from ‘Blue Fries’:

Oh My God…the libtards are going to be rioting in the streets over this one! What about White Privilege, huh?! All help should go to females and minorities, get it…anyone but white males!!! Sexism!!! Racism!!!

Another, from ‘Red Locomotive’:

I don’t believe it. With all that white male privilege they aren’t billionaires by now?

Rod Liddle: A field guide to our doomed liberal elite

An interesting piece in the curent edition of The Spectator. Excerpts:

For a start, the elite is not liberal in the classical liberal sense, but closer to the American sense of the word. It is certainly not ‘liberal’ if by that you mean tolerant: it is intolerant and authoritarian. And by elite I do not mean the elected government: establishment elites can survive most forms of government and easily outlast them.

The liberal elite we talk about today is beholden to a leftish cultural and political paradigm which predominates in all the non-elected institutions which run our lives. In the judiciary, for example. Within the BBC. In the running of our universities and in the courses they put before students. In the teaching profession. In the social services departments of every council in the land. At the top of the medical profession. On the boards of all the quangos — the lot of them, from those which hand out money in the arts to those which regulate our media and our utilities. It is a left-liberal paradigm, informed by affluence, which has been swallowed whole by all of these institutions and which is utterly intolerant of dissent…

Elites do change, though. I remember as a speechwriter for the Labour party in the early 1980s suggesting that we do something in support of the teachers, who were complaining about pay. ‘Fuck them — they’re all Tories,’ I was told. And so statistically they were, at the time. And in the 1970s the BBC, the Church of England, the judiciary and the emergent quangos were small ‘c’ conservative. Elites last for about two generations. Our liberal elite has lasted since about 1985. And my guess is that right now it is on the way out, which is why we are hearing this continual howling.

TCW Editors: Theresa May is a prisoner of the feminists’ destructive dream

Excellent. The start of the piece:

International Women’s Day is upon us again on Wednesday with all the usual clichés about female empowerment and changing lives, as though wimmin weren’t empowered enough. It is as self-referential and self-important as ever; the MSM is as deferential. The Sunday Times and The Times dutifully promised yet another week of ‘inspirational’ women, including ‘an evening with’ the grotesquely gurning Caitlin Moran.

The more childish feminism makes women, the more it seems we are made to celebrate them.

Well we won’t be joining in these frolics at TCW. We won’t even turn on Woman’s Hour. Why? for starters you can read Laura Perrins tomorrow, calling them out as Marxists.

What we will be doing is celebrating the third anniversary of the counter-cultural revolution we set off with the launch of The Conservative Woman. Our aim? To kickstart a new post feminist era, casting aside decades of indoctrination.

We chose to do this on International Women’s Day in very defiance of the idiocies it represents.

Women more likely to hire gays and lesbians over heterosexuals, University of Sussex study claims

Our thanks to Ian for this in The Christian Post. The University of Sussex is known to be particularly badly infested with taxpayer-funded radical feminist parasites academics. An extract from the piece:

Lead researcher [Benjamin] Everly speculated that the reason for the gender gap in hiring practices was due to women’s history of experiencing workplace discrimination.

“Because women experience discrimination and the glass ceiling in organizations, women may believe that gay and lesbian applicants must be more competent than equally qualified heterosexual applicants, in order to advance their careers,” stated Everly.
