Ann Widdecombe: It is high time Alison Saunders was sacked from her position as head of the Crown Prosecution Service as she appears to believe every woman who alleges rape automatically to be a victim instead of merely a complainant whose accusation has yet to be proved.

Our thanks to Geoff for this.

  1. Thank You Ann Widdecombe for raising the bar in the arena of rape allegation and justice. This is a very serious issue but I will consider it with some ‘humour’.

When I go to the zoo on a family day out I make sure I don’t climb into the lion’s den for a sensory thrill. I regard that as logical. Of course I may get away with it if I did… but the risk is not worth taking. We all understand this. If you want to see what happens if you do, go on youtube. It’s not always nice.

For the same reason I don’t make an annual pilgrimage to a Gay Pride march each year wearing a set of pink shorts and a sparkly crop top, let alone choose to go back to some bloke’s flat for ‘a drink’ later that night.

    Why? :

    A) Because I have preferred social options and a more practical dress code.
    B) Because I would quite possibly attract unwelcome sexually motivated attention.

    OBVIOUSLY.

Of course, I could choose to do both – the lions den and the march – whilst spreading hatred and fear in regard to homosexuals and lions… but that would be unhelpful and ridiculous.

Reality tells us that all men cannot be trusted. I’ll say it again : ALL MEN CANNOT BE TRUSTED#. So, as adults, we all need to look after ourselves by taking responsibility for our own social/sexual conduct.

And to certain ladies out there I’d say this. If you meet a couple of ‘pissed up’ sexually predatory pro-football players when you’re out next Saturday night? – Maybe think twice before you go back to a hotel or ‘a friends flat’ with them for ‘drinks’ at 1am in the morning…when you’ve already had a tank full…

…And I’ll stay out of the polar bear enclosure.
    How does that sound?

    Makes perfect sense to me.
    And stop demonising all men.

(# or women for that matter).

  2. Of course Ms Saunders position is that the Juries that are all wrong they need “training” to get it right. Well done for Ann Widdicombe.

    • She’s definitely the sort of woman female emancipation was supposed to empower. You may disagree with her opinions but she has considerable integrity.

  3. I noticed this caption below the second portrait of the hag like Saunders: ‘Alison Saunders was sacked from her position as head of the Crown Prosecution Service‘.

Agog with excitement I googled for confirmation but found none. I did, however, find references to several earlier calls for her resignation or sacking following other failures.

I think it is time to start writing to our MPs on this and to the absurdly named Liz Truss demanding action on her part or her own resignation.
